Heavy rainfall in Istanbul and surrounding areas has disrupted flight operations, leading to significant delays. Numerous departing flights from Istanbul airports are experiencing delays, while arriving aircraft have been put on hold. Planes running low on fuel are being diverted to calmer weather destinations such as İzmir, Ankara, and Antalya.
